Let's see ... my last project was decorating for the Fourth of July! This Friday marks the 2 year anniversary of my dad's death. Needless to say, I didn't "celebrate" or decorate the year he was in the hospital and last year was really difficult. As the holiday approached this year I realized that I wanted to really get into it again and honor him in that way. He was so patriotic and served for 3 years in the Navy in the late 1940's. It felt just right to gather lots of red/white/blue and set up some little arrangements around the house. Here's to you, Dad! Go USA!
My daughter age 13 and I have a nice herb garden started on a large window
sill. She loves herbs and so do I. We are pinching and making new starts for her to sell at the farmer's market for her 4H Micro Business. Also learning all we can about medicinal herbs too.. God bless and have a blessed Fourth of July.

Added a couple dressers and rearranged a few closets and other clothes storage areas in our house.
My last homemaking project was decorating our home for our daughter's wedding last week. A lot of work, but so worth it!
I just finished making a shirt for my son. It is my first time making one without a pattern. He wanted a black, fringed shirt (think Daniel Boone). He was very pleased. Thank you.
My husband and I canned 41 quarts of green beans from our garden in the last few weeks. We are so happy to have our own food in the pantry for the year. I'm also working on a quilted table runner for my mom's birthday at the end of the month. Thanks for the chance to win. Congratulations on your baby news!

Making Amish Friendship Bread - the chocolate variation! The starter was given to me by my old HIgh School dorm roommate and my children are more than obliging to eat the delicious results!
Hi...my most recent homemaking project was to help my husband set up our deck for the summer. We bought a new table and chairs that we put in the new screen tent (to keep those lovely mosquitoes away from us at night - a must have in NH). Everything is white and cheerful. We get the tent all set for summer cookouts and just chillin' on the deck. This year is better that past years, because we have an above ground pool. So we have all this extra space for summertime fun. Looking forward to finding just the right set of string lights for ambiance. Happy summer to you all.
Good morning. Our most recent projects have been: my boys are working on wood carving cross necklaces and letter openers with animal designs on them, my oldest daughter has been spinning the angora wool from our bunnies, my next oldest daughter is embroidering a beautiful rose motif, and I am knitting a hat.

Our most recent homemaking project for the adults and most of the "olders" was decluttering/dispersing of extra items to redo our back-porch which had become a storage area, sigh. While the "olders" were working on that the "youngers" (with an older supervisor ;) have been cutting out felt characters for Bible lessons. 1 of my daughters has been wanting to try embroidering so this giveaway would be perfect! Thank you for the opportunity!
I am making progress on several projects that have been in 'the works' for some time . . .a scrapbook Creative Memories photo album for my daughter Melissa and a small Thimbleberries Americana wall quilt.
We started a compost pile this past year and really see the difference in our garden. The leaves are greener and the vegetables more abundant.
I just finished canning strawberry jam and will be making Christmas potholders for gifts to get a head start.
My most recent project was embroidering names and Bible stories for our church's nursery.
