The other night we were completely out of mix, so I opened the cabinet and made my own. The result was so yummy (the kids were licking their plates), I don't think we are going to be buying the mix again.
The recipe I originally concocted in my head included fresh parsley and chives. The refrigerator was not stocking those ingredients at the moment, but I've added them to this recipe anyways. If you don't have either of those two ingredients either, don't worry, the dressing was delicious without them!
Ranch Dressing
In a large glass measuring cup add:
1 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. dill weed
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
1 tsp. sea salt
2 tsp. apple cider vineger
3/4 cup milk

Thank you for sharing this recipe! It sounds really easy! We love to eat salad here too, so I know we'll use this a lot! :)
wow! I didn't think of even making a homemade mix. We make our own a lot though, but not enough to be even once a month, but it's still *good*
Wow, lots a salad! I'm thinking about that ranch stuff now :D
Happy day to you all!!
Love,
Michelle

Ok, that salad is making me hungry. What kind of salad is that and will you share the recipe?
Thanks and hope you blog more.

LoL! Well, the salad was actually something Mom and I made up for lunch one day from leftovers. I think we had had steak fajitas and seasoned brown rice the night before. The salad was just our favorite veges, spinach and stuff ;)
We might actually have to post our recipes for the brown rice and fajitas now! =)
We will still be posting, but we are hanging out more on our community now, and we are going to be posting a lot of recipes and fun stuff there =) You are more than welcome to join us too!
Have a blessed day ~ Jessica
